Aluminium Conservatory near Oxford
The following pictures showcase an aluminium conservatory we built near Oxford. The work involved a complete turnkey solution, from constructing the base, installing a portal frame to support the roof,
erecting the conservatory, plastering, tiling (including underfloor heating), electrics and all groundworks. In addition we also undertook small alterations to their utility room, re-configuring the kitchen units, installing a new worktop and sink etc.
The conservatory is made out of powder coated aluminium in a textured charcoal colour (9005ST). The roof (also powder coated aluminium) was designed to incorporate a deep rafter to provide a more contemporary look.
A portal frame was installed so that the bifolding doors could span the whole of one side. This was also designed so that a tie bar would not be necessary in the roof.
Additionally the doors to the utility room and
at the back were all made from similiar profile to the conservatory to provide a consistent look to the design.
